#EarthHour 2021
Using your voice for nature

This Saturday, 27 March 2021 at 10:30 pm citizens around the world will be switching off their lights for an hour, putting a sudden halt to our intensive power demand, that puts pressure on mother nature. It is Earth Hour, one of the longest established environmental campaigns aimed at increasing the level of awareness on the need to act against nature loss and climate change.

This year’s theme is using #YourVoiceForNature. This year do more than just turn your lights off for one hour. Share what you are doing to tread a little lighter on this planet, may it be at home or at work. This year’s intention for Earth Hour is to use your voice to inspire and empower others to care for our planet.

As composting is what we are all about, we would like to challenge you to get your composting system up and running this weekend and to share your progress with others. Food waste remains a big environmental challenge and composting is a way in which we can prevent the impacts that food waste can potentially have on nature.

Share your composting story with us on our Facebook page and let us know what you are doing!
